Stimulator Sportfishing Fish Report 10/13/13

Well we are going into the start of tournament week and as happens every year we’ve got tropical storm Octave sitting down below us 500 miles or so heading our way. Just when we get the waters figured out, where the bait is, where the concentration of game fish are ,.. the storm comes in and turns everything over right before the Tournament and makes it a crap shoot!~ Nobody knows where anything is, bait, gamefish, nothing!~Oh well, why it’s called fishing!~ This past week the bite slowed down a little bit but it still centered on Dorado and Striped Marlin. There has been a showing of school sized Yellowfin Tuna offshore on the Dolphin schools. A 275# Yellowfin took the prize in the East Cape Tuna Tournament at the Van Wormer Resort. Wahoo are showing up regularly in the counts as the water starts to cool, The coastal bite still has good Roosterfish fishing and smaller Dorado. Wish us luck in the upcoming Bisbee tourney, Baby needs a college fund!!~Capt. J
