Cabo San Lucas Fish Report July 8th, 2013

The Striped Marlin bite continues!~ We fished 2 days last week , Had 5 for 7 and 3 for 5 on the Striped Marlin plus a few Dorado with one being upwards of 40lbs. The most productive areas have been off of the Gordo Banks and Destiladera outside of San Jose. The fleet found small yellowfin this week with fish in the 10-15lb range, plus skippys are starting to show. The port is closed today as we sit with Tropical Storm Erick 80 miles off the coast, cloudy weather, wind and rain squalls, nice change if you live here, not so much for the vacationer!~ This storm should push the warm water into Cabo to stay for the summer and along with it the Blue and Black Marlin for the start of that season!~Great time to come fish!~Saludos!~Capt. Jay
