During the summer of 2002 'Stimulator' underwent a major refit of motors, electronics and interiors.

New C-12 700 HP Caterpillar motors now power 'Stimulator' offering a cruise speed of 25 knots and an attainable WOT (wide open throttle) of 35 knots. 

A total new electronics package featuring Furuno's 'NavNet' system features a CH-250 sonar, an FMD 1200 echo sounder, a 25kw 96 mile 'Bird' radar and a 'Navnet '1900 GPS Chart Plotter.

The salon interior was redone with new built in couches offering more seating area and better utilization of interior space.
